Assessment and Internal Quality Assurance
Guidance

In EBMA qualifications, the methods for assessing student performance are broadly summarised under coursework and examinations. Both categories of assessment tool have particular functions within the learning experience of students and can be used to evaluate different aspects of learning outcomes.

Quality Assurance
Approved centres must provide internal quality assurance to ensure that assessment meets EBMA requirements and is standardised across individual assessors, assessment locations and learners. Our external quality assurance system ensures the quality and standardisation across centres.

Centres must conduct operations of internal moderation that must include-
  1. Planning the internal moderation
  2. Conducting the internal moderation
  3. Developing and supporting assessors
  4. Internal moderation records
  5. Facilitating the external moderation
